Grade Change Form
To guarantee that all students take courses in the correct sequence without violating any course requirements, the School has a procedure for checking and waiving prerequisites. If you would like to waive a pre-requisite, you must substantiate that you are prepared to succeed in the class based on past experience, courses at other schools, certificates, and/or work experience (wanting to graduate earlier is not sufficient). Ensure that your substantiation aligns with the course description (provided below). It is the instructor’s decision to enroll a student without a pre-requisite and their decision is final. (Note: the pre-requisite will still need to be taken before graduation)
Complete the student section of this form and attach any evidence that will substantiate your readiness for the course you are requesting (examples include a resume, past courses at other schools, certificates, and work experience) and/or fill out the justification box with an explanation. Submit the form and the form will be sent to the instructor within two business days. The Office of Student Success will contact you with the result from the instructor once it has been completed.

MBA520 Data Analytics using Excel
Learn to perform big data analysis using Excel's most popular features such as Excel Macros, Visual Basic, Pivot Tables, and the other intermediate-to-advanced Excel functionality. The ability to analyze big data is a powerful skill that helps you make better decisions. Microsoft Excel is one of the top tools for data analysis and data visualization. This course will prepare you to design and implement advanced Excel formulas that aggregate data to create meaningful reports.
1. Fluent in Excels most commonly used business functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOK, LOOKUP, INDEX, and MATCH, summarize data in flexible ways, enabling quick exploration of data, and producing valuable insights from the accumulated data.
2. Demonstrate understanding of how pivot tables, pivot charts, and slicers work together for analyzing big data and help in creating automated dynamic dashboards/reports.
3. Become proficient in Excel macros and VBA user forms.
MBA601 Database Management Systems using SQL
Introduction to database design and creation using a DBMS product such as MS SQL Server. Develop SQL programming proficiency. Emphasis is on data dictionary, data manipulation, data integrity, data normalization, data control statements as well as on report generation. Upon completion, students should be able to write Structured Query Language (SQL) programs that create, update, and produce computerized business forms and reports.
1. Demonstrate the understanding of essential database management theory and concepts, database design, and implementation with an emphasis on the relational database model.
2. Utilize database design techniques such as Entity-Relationship Diagram, normalization, and data warehouse.
3. Develop SQL programs to create complex forms and reports that integrate data from multiple sources.
MBA650 Project Management
Theory and applications of electronic commerce including issues such as E-cash, E-banking, Etailing, SCM, E-marketing, B2C, B2B, C2C, eGovernment, Internet business opportunities, Internet security homepage maintenance, Internet database interface, and cooperative computing.
1. Demonstrate the understanding of Project Management analytical functions, practices and tools and be able to integrate this functional knowledge to address project issues.
2. Solving problems by applying quantitative and technological skills that are required to enable them to analyze and interpret project data to improve project performance.
3. Examine and analyze different projects based on project data collected.
